If trolling use a DB smelt spoon. Can't beat it. They work well for trout of all kinds and salmon.

I have two of my four licenses purchased 1-1-12. (NH and Mass). Vt and Maine in the spring. BTW, Nice fishing up north on Winni. 9 inches of ice.

Hoping to get on for some ice fishing soon. I was down there the other day. fenced in but it looks like you can walk around and get on the ice. I hope you don't need a hard hat. Razz

There are some very good low priced downriggers. Cannon makes one that I used before I upgraded to a bigger boat. Caught many salmon and lakers on Quabbin with a rented boat and trusty cannon riggers.
