yea i have seen the same thing at 2 different ponds, but it was early season and they were spawning still. usually i think thats the case... they would get spooked usually but they don't want to leave ... | |

There was dead fish in Jamaica Pond around the same time. All small - bluegill, a few perch and a couple bullhead. And one poor disoriented turtle. Water temps may have produced a low-oxygen situation ... | |
