VoteDean and I gave it another try on 9/7/2008 day after hurricane Hanna passed by. Water was high and it was screaming over the dam. By the way it is the most dangerous launch I ever used, I was almost swept over the dam in a 17 ft Tracker. Anyway it was the best fishing trip I have ever had in Connecticut. We caught at least 15 LMB only 2 were under 12 inches long and one hag 7 pounds ann 11 ounces. Give this place a try well worth it, don't be afraid of the weather.
Howells Pond Description
Remote in forest. Beautiful locale. Great for picnic with family. You can launch a good sized boat. Parking for maybe 5 trailers.
