Pike Fishing at Quaddick this Weekend?

What are the odds i can land some pike if i take the boat out this weekend on Quaddick? Will the water temps effect the fishing? Ill be free bailing large creek chubs with steel leaders while i throw some swim baits and cranks around the coves.

They are lowering of the lake for winter and it is currently down about 5 feet. It is impossible to launch a trailered boat there right now, and from my past experience, the fishing sucks there when they drop it, you would be better off going elsewhere. As far as water temps, that should be no problem, the colder the better for pike.

thats not the news i was looking for, thanks for the heads up i really appreciate i would of been pretty upset i drove the boat all the way there and couldnt even launch.
