Was out there for a bit with my buddy today, nothing to report besides it being cold and windy. He caught 1 dink and I was skunked.

Anyway, I don't know if anyone has mentioned it on here but they are now renting row boats out there for $5 an hour (!) with a valid fishing license ($10/ hour if you just want to row). The boats are built by kids and families in a workshop and they all look really, really nice. I think it's an excellent deal considering what DCR generally charges at places like Spot Pond and it will help to get to the fish holding deep.

Tight lines!

Huh, not sure why it took me so long to get with the program... in my defense, I haven't fished there in some time. Glad to hear you've caught quality fish there, though. Thanks!

Ive been out there a few times to throw in a quick line before/after work . Caught a ton of smaller largemouth there. Been out on the boats a few times and havent had too much luck. Ive heard good things about JP and ive seen fish there (nothing very big). Biggest fish I caught this summer was a perch that was largest ive ever seen.
