Today I accidentally caught 4 carp while looking for catfish, and I had no idea how to handle them.

So I'm thinking I need to get a net. Any good brands that would be good for both bass fishing in a canoe, but still be big enough to handle the occasional Carp?

I own this one. http://www.amazon.com/Frabill-Trout-Net-15--Inch/dp/B001FTOPRE/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1382137645&sr=8-15&keywords=fishing+net

It's a great net. Not sure if it would be big enough if your carp are of any size.

Looks plenty deep and has lots of good reviews!

I prefer nets with long handles. There is nothing worse than being 2 inches away from netting a fish and watching it flop away. You can't go wrong with a Frabill, I think I got mine off Amazon too.
