I guess the days of the MAFF year-end cookout are done :(

I really enjoyed last year's event at Lake Shirley because it provided those of us who don't participate in the "big boy" tournaments an opportunity to meet fellow MAFFers. Thanks to Johnny Bag-a-bass for all he's done to build our MAFF community. The fact that he's also been bumped from the top 6 on the homepage speaks volumes about the changes here. Not saying anything's good or bad, just different.

I agree. There were good intentions about it this year but just couldn't be executed. Skimming 50 bucks off the pot of the first 5-6 tournies seems to be the way to go to fund it. If it happens next year.

Certainly not! I have just grown used to seeing Johnny's face every time I log on. Now I have to get used to your ugly mug. Maybe a set of beer goggles?

It was just growing pains this season. Some changes were good, some not so good. Maybe a little over ambition in places, but it's all good and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! The 2014 MAFF season will be great, no worries! As far as Johnny, have you guys seen him lately? He is looking GREAT! I think he said he lost 135 lbs and counting so far, unbelievable! That's almost one whole "Kamil", LOL!
