I have access to a pond on a golf course. In the spring it is loaded with pollywogs and then bullfrogs until late July. The Bass I catch here are small so I am wondering how they bulk up from August on? I added a dozen or so sunfish last year and never saw them again. Should I buy some bait minnows or shiners and put them in? Or let nature alone. Thanks Cool

Minnows won't solve much. The problem in small ponds is the bass over populated. Bass growth will then become stunted. You should cull some of the smaller bass.

its just chemistry! right balance between prey and preditor!!!!
