You've got a couple of options here.

If you're using live bait try a slip bobber. You can adjust the leader to be anywhere from an inch to 50 feet if you want. I used that method in Lake Bomoseen where the average depth was about 30' and it worked great.

Use a heavier lure - something like a half ounce or more. Throw it far so it doesn't drop in an arch. Figure out the timing of how long it takes to hit the bottom and then go from there.

Texas rigged or Carolina rigged worms will do the trick too. Throw a heavier worm weight on the line and it'll drop like a stone to the bottom.

Oh I forgot to mention, you can try bottom bouncing a crankbait using a three way swivel. Just use a suspending or floating crank, and a weight heavy enough to bring it down

Try a 3/4 to 1 oz spinner bait with Colorado blades the round blades create tons of vibration and big bass smash them this time of year especially if the pond has herring or golden shiners in it.
