Smallie hunting

I usually don't aim for smallies cause I'm still working on locating large mouths but on wednesday I start vacation for three days on cape and my buddy and I wanna hunt for some linker sallys. Which cape pond within 20 of Barnstable would you rec(mashpee/johns/Brewster ponds)? And I assume stuff like Texas rigged creatures, jigs, drop shot? I only have caught smallies while aiming for largies. Thanks for any response.

Johns and mashpee have nice smallies but if you are looking for giants... Long Pond in Harwich is the best big , smallie pond on the cape. Try carolina rigging and fishing a senko, spider jig and tube as well as the techniques you mentioned.
