I deleted all the old pics from my file tonight but somehow deleted the pics from this event to...thought I was just deleting the "transferred" pics but deleted the pics in the cam too....found the older pics in the recycle bin but how do I recover the pics I took today?...any suggestions?...I feel awful about this...

were the pics on a sd card or internal camera memory? If sd card there is software to retrieve them.
