Lake nippenicket fishing?

Hows the bass fishing been lately here and plus is there any pike in here??just wondering cuz i wanna catch one but needs to be a lake within 30 mins of me and was wondering if i could catch some here?thanks guys

No Pike. Great Largemouth fishery though.

Shallow, dark water. Jigs with trailers produce here. Stay away during the middle of the day when its hot, the bite died out FAST and stayed dead when I was there last weekend.

Any areas in general that are good? We fished the points of the large islands and used frogs on the pads, and punched the grass mats.
