I have had a terrible year when it comes to smallies I have had 3 smallmouth 3 pounds plus break off this year right at the boat but finally today got my p.b a little over 3 lbs we also got a few smaller ones but still about 2 lbs and my fishing partner got a 5 lb largie I'm still pumped up from the small mouth I thought I set the hook of my 3/4 ounce jig into a log on my mh bait casting rod fight of a life .
