We're finally making it on a child free fishing trip...which rarely happens.
We haven't gotten a large mouth this season and we want one bad... I prefer shore fishing with this trip since we're taking a smaller vehicle and I don't want to strap the canoe to it. We generally fish in Ashland, Hopkinton and Upton... We want it to be trip originally we were talking about going out to Deerfield River...but we're going there to trout fish this fall.
Suggestions on a great place more than welcome

Welcome to MAFF Emily. I sure some of our shore fisherman can point you to some places that should help you land some nice LMB. Lord knows many of us can appreciate the value of a child-free trip.

Thank you much
I'm looking forward to the solitude
And fishing that doesn't involve unsnagging either of their lines from a tree Smile

If you're looking for a some good shore fishing for Largemouth in that area I can definitely help you out considering that's the area I primarily fish and am a fellow Shore Warrior hah.

Whitehall in Hopkinton is great for shore fishing. There's a small bridge on Pond Street. Park on the side of the road and there's a hiking trail that follows the shoreline. It's full of bassy looking habitat so you can literally just cast and walk and try all the spots.

Pout Pond in Upton offers some solid Largemouth bass fishing too. There's a trail that follows the entire shoreline around this small pond so there are a ton of spots to try.

Hopedale Pond in Hopedale is also a solid place to fish. The "pond" is actually really large with a trail that, again, goes around the entire lake with lots of shore access. You can park right on Dutcher Street and have immediate access to the lake shore and path.

Some other suggestions: Louisa Lake - Milford, Park Pond - Medway, Pratt Pond - Upton, Lake Chauncey - Westboro

Lemme know if you need any more details or suggestions!

I'm going to check out Whitehall Friday, I haven't gone this year because I heard that are only hitting from boats, but now I'm definitely trying since you said you've gotten there. I'm going to attempt to make Sud Res Saturday. I should have a destination for Sunday by Thursday lol.

Thanks everyone.
