Husky Jerk sizes

Never tried these before, have an X-Rap that I like, now want to try a Husky Jerk.

What size do you guys recommend for large/smallmouth? I'm trying to decide between the HJ-10 and HJ-12.

Not certain about sizes. Try the size that's below the largest. They can SLAY bass in the fall. Even on these hot days a husky jerk can bring some quality fish to the boat. Jerkbait can be fished 365. It's all about the retrieve. They really shine in the fall IMO Last fall i caught so many quality fish with the husky. From big bass to jumbo perch and mean pickerel.

I was at a tournament at Upper Mystic this spring and several of the guys were slaying them on 3" Husky Jerks.

I prefer the HJ10. Reason being, I don't like any bait with 3 trebles. I'm actually not a big fan of treble hooks at all, but with some baits I am forced to use them. Very rarely do I get a nice, clean hookset with just one treble. It is usually a friggen mess and being out in the yak it is not fun

That's the one! I love the HJ10! Can be a anglers best friend at times
