I have a few of the chub creek hinged pikes and they are are as good as the slammer for big bass. Dust-em-off with a damp cloth only - no alcohol or solvents that will harm the paint job, replace the hooks with some good owners and most are good to go. I did re-epoxy the hook anchors on a couple of mine with devcon, but you'd never know it. Mask and lightly overcoat, again with devcon or a good rod or urethane finish, and you're done.
