hollow belly SB

anyone use hollow bellies? and how should i be setting the hook with these things?

Pretty much the same as any other type of plastic bait. After the strike and you feel the fish, let it rip I do much better on hookups with this type of bait than I do with a frog

I like to hold the rod tip, (yes i said hold the rod tip) down at like the 4:00 position and slightly off center to where i cast. When a fish hits I sweep set to my left. I fell i get a better hookset then if I set straight up. That goes for any bait that I cast out further then a flip or pitch away from me. Spinnerbaits, crankbaits, buzzbaits
