Went fishing the Sudbury River yesterday and the bite was tough. You could only see about a foot in the water and there was a ton of what I think algae suspended. It was like fishing in a coffee pot.

Does anyone know if this is a bloom or just runoff from the recent rain?

I was there yesterday form 1-4. Other than the god awful wind, I didn't notice anything different about the water clarity.

Ugh the pollen...so I was at the cape over the weekend and normally I'd have left the ac on in the apt around 78 to keep it reasonable while not at home. Well, the ac is down in the building so I left the kitchen and patio door open. I get home last night to find a fairly thick layer of pollen covering almost every surface of the kitchen and living room. Needless to say it sucked and I don't ever remember pollen being as bad as its been this year.

I think you guys are right. I never thought about pollen. It just looked like Lake Shirley right before they treated it. I hope it clears up, I'm planning on going back on the 14th
