Hey all!!! Just got back this weekend from The Bahamas and just in time to see the #29 car win Charlotte 
A few weeks ago the wife was doing company sponsored community work and was cleaning along the Charles River along Memorial Drive. She saw a bunch of fish and from how she described them I figure they were alewife or herring? Anyone ever fish that stretch for bass/pike/anything? Seems with all the baitfish a smart predator would move in there, most especially because all the Harvard hippies don't fish!

I fish the Charles from Waltham to the locks w/ my buddy Mike, plenty of bass. Shad have been stocked in the Charles for the past few years at least 5 or 6 and they are returning to spawn. I have caught many bass on shad lures.
