Post spawn females

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has a clue how long it takes after females spawn to recuperate and not be so tough to catch? I know they will still feed, but heard it really tough getting those big gals to bite in post spawn.

I hear usually a week or 2 been catching mostly males lately sucks lol

They can be seen cruise around or sit under the tree. They don't bite or the bite is very weak--can't hook into them. Give a week or two they will eat again.

From what I've gathered they suspend or pull off to deep water. Who knows tho I guess.

How can you tell?
