I'm looking to get some time on the boat this weekend but with my wife there, "active" fishing is going to be difficult. What are the best techniques for lazy fishing? Basically drifting along waiting for a bite. I would imagine live bait is necessary. What rigs have worked for you guys in the past? Go Fish

It would be helpful to know where you were thinking of fishing so that we have an idea of water depth and species.

Shallow, warm water. Very even depth, think 3-5ft. Moderate milfoil. Pretty well shielded from wind. Going after bad larry.

Night crawlers as well.... cheaper then shiners, though of course not as selective.

I mean any of the simple standard fare is gonna get you fish and allow you to relax.
