One cast before work.

I've been stopping at a local pond each morning before work to get in a few casts. Finally paid of this morning. Only took one cast to find this little chunk this morning.

I love it when you get one on the first cast! Hey what rod and reel setup is that...looks like a stradic but the handle's a bit different.

The reel is a Stradic 5000FJ that I paired with a 7' St. Croix mojo. It's been a great set-up. Caught many nice bass, 8 pound laker, and even schoolie stripers and blues on it. The 5000 size reel is probably over kill but everything I own has to able to be used in both fresh and saltwater.

Great setup! I just picked up a 3000FJ and and after a few outings, I wish I had gone with at least a 4000 series for the same reasons.
