New Scale for Tournament Entry

Finally got a scale so that I maybe can enter a cartopper tournament.

Berkley 35lb scale. Checked the low end calibration using a 5 oz (onza) mexican silver libertad. Seems set correct:



Maybe I can try it out tomorrow.

You dont need a personal scale for cartoppers. It would only be used to estimate your own weight before the official weigh in

I started to write the same Rob but then thought maybe he meant the kayak tourneys and wrote car topper by accident.

Confused, with a kayak (cartopper) you gotta weigh in every fish?

Oooo the kayak and cartoppers are completely different trails. The kayak tournies tou have to weigh your own fish individually take a picture and release the fish. But the cartoppers you Have to have a livewell and we weigh the fish on an official scale.
