here is a map of what I consider danger areas on South watuppa. Those of you who know the lake ignore me. Those that do not.... DO NOT IGNORE me. This is a man made lake and it is FILLED with rocks and boulders. The red areas all have Volkswagen sized boulders, some well off shore and LOTs just below the surface. If you are in 12 -15' of water you are safe. If not, your not. Again those that know the lake can run around in under 15' but there are sooo many danger areas it is best for those that do not know it to " no wake" it in the red areas.

1. BIG extended boulder point in the middle of the northern shoreline. The topo map does not show how shallow and how far out this point comes. Some boulders are exposed, some aren't. This point comes a good 100-125 yards from shore.

2. Small rock pile about 75-100 yards out from the ramp and to the left. Only visible in fall with low water.

3. Cove to the right of the ramp if you are looking out at the lake from the ramp. Boulders and rock walls everywhere.

4. Eastern shoreline directly across from the ramp. Come off plane as soon as you get parallel with the small island when heading east. DO NOT run between Island and south of the island

5. Southern most end of the lake. Boulders everywhere except right down the middle

6. Any and all shorelines within 75 yards of shore. There are rock piles, single boulders, rock jetties EVERYWHERE.

I don't want to make it sound more dangerous then it is but then again i would hate to see someone lose a lower unit to a rock pile.
