Im with you, more than likely we will be settling for a day in the 40's on Billington Toilet with water temps not much higher, as for the wind...Im sure it will be blowing which direction and how fat is a mystery!

Just got back from FL. Fished most every day and most down there complained about how cool it was this winter! Let them come to New England is what I say!
I agree, wish the wind would die down. More motivated to get out there if it wasn't so windy.

I cant believe I got the boat out and fished early January this year and since then the weather has been crap. When does groundhog season start?

One of the weather people on TV said the long range forecast shows this pattern going right into April Exclamation Pretty depressing Exclamation Laughing

Too dang cold and windy to even work on the boat and get it ready for the Q.

Last year I took the tarp off, 16' X 20' on a kinda breezy day. Thought I was Peter Pan as I flew down the driveway holding on to the tarp. Wright brothers has nothing on me that day.

Good thing is I do all my maintenance in the fall. Really just have to un-tarp Toad's Stool, load her up, test fire her with the muffs, hook to the truck and go. Very Happy

i've gone out in this miserable crap already. had the best day when it was the tail end of a warming trend. even then there was still ice. by no means am i a power fisherman but i found that reaction baits worked best. i tried the finesse stuff but it wasn't working that day at that place.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME????!!!!! SNOW, AGAIN!!! ARRRGHHH!

Posted Fri Mar 22, 2013 9:18 am

I been out twice and did alright,,despite freezing me tail off. But spring is here (despite the friggn snow...) and at least the waterways arent covered with ice.

Tomorrow 46 and clear -- it might be time to sneak out for the third time to test some new lures to review on ezangler.com.

Enjoy the weekend!
