So every year the same scenario plays out for me. Spring starts rolling around, I get the itch to start fishing (which is stronger than the itch you get from banging that 2 a.m. catch from the drunk girl pond.. ) and I start buying. I usually ask for BPS gift cards from everyone who asks for gift ideas. So the big purchases (reels, electronics,etc..) go to BPS. But, what about tackle? I would rather buy tackle from the little sites. So other than jigs from Boag Hog, (order coming soon Jay Smile ) what are good Lure/line sites that you guys use? Obviously low price and good service are always good!!

Not a lot of control about which specific lures you get, but if you are looking for new ones to try out, you could consider joining

www.tacklegrab.com

I signed up a few days ago.

Yea the baby duck look kind of like a novelty lure and a conversation starter at the boat ramp.

For buying bass tackle I've yet to see anything better than Tackle Warehouse.

-Low Prices (way better than BPS)
-Free Shipping orders over $50 (even rods, trolling motors, etc)
-Quick delivery, I get orders I place on the weekend either on Friday or Sat
-Great promos
-Free t-shirts with orders over $150 (I have a bunch of them but they switch up the colors often so your not always getting the same shirt)
-Great customer service (I had a problem with a shimano reel and they transfered me to the shimano technical support)

I've used Tackle Warehouse a couple of times and was impressed with the service. I just hope they don't get too full of themselves Exclamation Laughing

TW has always taken good care of me, and it may be good to know they price match. When i find something i want cheaper some where else they will normally match that price.

I get my jigs from serbert outdoors. The jigs are the best, but i dont dig the hand pours. The smallest chunk he does will not even work with his jigs.
