Anyone use those Stik Jacket or equivalent rod covers (nylon braided tube that slips over rod(s) to keep from tangling together)? Work as advertised? Any brand better than others?

i use the rod glove. they're great. i'd recommend the XL though even if it's a 6'6" rod so it will cover the entire thing if you want the entire rod to be covered.

I was at BPS tonight and they have their version on sale for about $3.50

They aren't the best but the price was right and so I bought a couple.

For the short money, I'll order up a handful and try them out. Thanks for the info.
