coupler/receiver lock kit

I bought this last night and was wondering if it's good/bad/overkill. What do you think? I live in the city and my boat will be in my driveway. I'm hoping it'll fit in the garage for the winter but am not sure yet.

Might slow a thief down a little bit but if they want it they can get it...in that case, suggest you take a wheel off the trailer.

Agreed. Will slow them down. If they had a cordless impact gun and a spare coupler, 30 seconds later the boat is gone. Before people wake up and ask WTF that noise was. Tack weld the nuts on there and that will slow the coupler swap down if not stop it.

Buddy had his rig stolen-they just hooked up the safety chains and drove off, coupler locked and all. Hence, now the wheel off the trailer...

or hook it up to 15 a and 220 v
