Where are a few spots for Pickerel from Braintree to Plymouth?

When is best spring ? Summer? fall ?

Big pickerel in Billington but ya they're everywhere in this state

I say they are way more active in the Winter time. And they seem to be hardier then. Boot pond in Plymouth or Long Pond has some Corkers

Yeah I would give boot pond a try.The people there are so nice and helpful. If you're lucky they will bring you out a sandwicha nd a dunks coffee

I catch more in the winter and early spring then I do in summer and late spring
I swear they are more of a cold water species not warm water

Early spring after ice out when they spawn is the best time.
They are agressive when the bass arnt. And will cure the winter blues

they defiantly more aggressive in the spring and fall madder of fact i caught a 3 poundier out of a small pond in falmouth any pond that is shallow and weedy are defiantly good places to try santuit pond has some big ones in it as well

X2 on the shallow weedy ponds

One of my shallow honey holes has only big pickerel. Finding a small one can actually be kind of tough lol
Average size is around this (Picture sucks, but you get the point)


I used to have some amazing photos of me,family,and friends with some MASSIVE picks. Some of which were pushing 4-6lbs! Untill my old phone fell into the water (along with my PB LMB )
