finally finished the project from hell, converted a carpeted deck to vinyl and replaced the vinyl on the main deck. After about 40 plus hours of trial and error it is back together. Every hatch and board had to be shimmed to make up for the carpet being much thicker then the vinyl. Going into the project I had no idea it would have been this difficult, and if anyone is thinking about doing the same, take some vacation time to do it because you will need it lol.
