I am close to casting my credit card for a Garmin Echo 150 bundle portable.

Do you have any experience with portables? I fish a small inflatable
(Sea Eagle 285) and also in FLA on a 15 ft fibrglass rental boat.

Thanks and keep your rod tip up! Cool

I have a Humminbird PirahnaMax 150 portable that I use in the yak. It comes with battery, charger and a suction cup transducer. The unit is enclosed in a weatherproof carrying case. Got it at Dick's for $130. Check it out on the Humminbird site Exclamation

Im not sure if this is the same thread I posted this in before ( I dont think so) if you are going to buy a decent portable unit you may as well spend the couple of extra dollars and buy one that isnt going to be outdated as well as one that you can update the software from the Hummingbird site. This unit is the same as my 570 portable but it has the added extra of down scan imaging, it very accurate and practical, very easy to use as well check it out
