im excited because of last year. its been 2yrs since i did some good ice fishing. last year only got out 5 times up in NH. with small yellow perch.

i will be happy with a winter like last year. But if there is safe ice I suppose I will force myself to fish just for something to do. Not my favorite type of fishing anymore the older I get. Laughing

I'd love to see that. So please do some ice pitching and flipping

Neil, just get the smallest auger you can, or better yet, just a small drill bit for a cordless drill and practice your accuracy by flipping into the hole!

That ain't a bad idea. Good practice. How bout a 1 inch bit. If I master that I'd be almost as good as sinista!
