these are the only gloves you will ever need to fish when its cold, thin enought to tie knots with them on yet warm and totally waterproof

you can buy them right at Bass Pro Shops right near the boots on the main floor

I bought a pair of the Sealskinz a couple of years ago and did not like them at all. I found that they had an outside material that absorbed the water that didn't help keep the hands warm at all Exclamation Plus I was always getting the hooks stuck in them. For me, I found the only thing that worked was, when I have a fish on to just take the gloves off, release the fish and put the gloves back on Exclamation Just one of the joys of cold water fishing Exclamation Laughing

I agree Don, that's why I posted 2 links the pair with the Windblocker prevents the cold from getting through

Yeah, the Chillblocker may be a better glove but they are a little pricey Exclamation I wouldn't get my moneys worth. I would screw them up with hooks the first day Exclamation Laughing

I could never pay that much for gloves and I doubt I could ever tie a knot wearing any gloves. I have cheap neoprene gloves that I cut the thumb and first 2 fingers off of. I plan on buying some of that repellent spray that makes fabric water repellent and see if that works. I was originally thinking of that spray for my hat but after seeing this thread thought why not try it on the gloves too?

If you just want waterproof. I use gorilla grip neoprene. They are light and slip proof. Not sure how warm they will be. 3 packs for $10 at Home Depot
