Outer Cape Freshwater

What are some of your favorite spots around Orleans? Needs to have a boat launch and a place to park the trailer.

i have a secret place in truro/wefleet that i wont tell you. however, it is safe to say that most kettle ponds in cape cod have bass. try going to goose hommock and buying a cape cod freshwater fishing guide also. that should help. you could also rent a kayak or a canoe. gull pond in wefleet has a boat launch

The first sentence wasn't necessary. If you have a secret place that you want to keep to yourself then there was no need of mentioning it

try West Res in Harwich...nice ramp off of bells neck rd...stay to the far right of the stump field to get to the main pool

I agree with wojo! West res has some pigs in there....but look out for those stumps

I concur with the above 2 statements on West Reservoir. Used to fish it when I was a kid, my uncle by marriage had a cottage down that way, saw many a 5lb+ fish get landed there.
