Is there any nice spots for Sallys in Northern Worcester County besides Wachusett Res? I'd like to take the boat out and target some Smallies.

TIA

Singletary Lake in Millbury/Sutton is full of them. Think thats ~30min from you

I think Centralmassfish nailed it on the head. Singletary Lake is probably one of the better ones around in that area besides the Chu.

There's some nice spots in that lake that are very productive.

The locals call the Smallies the "Pink Elephants"

They weedtreated the lake a few weeks ago. You can easily find a few dozen 1lb's on the dropoffs. Havent located anything larger since the vast weedbeds are gone

Update went to Singletary on Friday with Bam. It was a tough bite and windy. We never really got on any numbers. We ended up landing 3 Sally's and 3 Larry's. Most of the weeds have died off from the treatment.
Is it me or not, that when a body of water gets treated for weeds or algae the fishing sucks?
