Can anyone explain this oddity that happened to me at Beaver Brook today?
I ended up catching a dozen or so of those fallfish, all 12 inches or so long. One of them had the hook pretty deep in it's mouth so I held it with my left hand, and worked the hook out with my right....when I put it in the water I saw that it left something that looked like dark blue ink all over my hand. What the hell is that about? Milt? Is it part octopus?
