Heading over here in a little while, never been there, any tips?

My fishing buddy is fishing here today and yesterday fishing fish finder tourny, lots of shallow grass. If fishing bottom move out to 8 to 10' deep to get lure to bottom. Crankbait over grass or drop shotting would be good choices.
