quannapowitt and walden pond ice.

Anyone been by either of these waters? Do they have any ice on them? And by walden I mean the one in concord,ma.

I imagine they'll be open. I fished in Billerica yesterday. There was still snow on the ground but no ice on the water.

I drove by Walden a few weeks ago and it was wide open. It hasn't been any colder since then, so I imagine you'll be fine there. I've noticed that lake takes awhile to freeze over, probably because it gets pretty deep, so I doubt it even froze over this year. There will a few solid inches on lakes in the area, and it will still be open.
