Just got back from Martins Pond in North Reading, water temp 38-40. Beautiful day, mid-50's. Wind blew us all over at the start, then settled down. Wasn't expecting much. My buddy and I were in kayaks, and we found a honey hole (not to be disclosed). Final LMB tally: (2) 5lb's, (1) 3lb'r and (1) 1.5lb'r. Unbelievable day.[/img]
I fish there all the time when we only have a few hours, place is hit or miss, caught a few 3 + pounders out of that s*** hole! Did the neighbors give you s*** about wake???? Always have luck at two places, bridge and water treatment plant.That pond isn't more than 8 ft deep, be careful with your lower end.
