Jetty fishing for stripers

real fun fishing for striped bass on land they may not be as large as the ones that you would catch on a boat but with light tackle off of a jetty these guys are really fun to catch!

have any favorite spots on the south shore?

Quincy's Nut Island has been producing some decent size fish. Marina Bay as well.

Check out my May 2 - June 11 trip... Bunch of local Boston spots is where I've been catching most of mine, though I have hit a couple at Nut Island.

Nut Island is also where I've caught almost all of my bait for this year. Squids were running like crazy. I hear they are running hot in Gloucester now.
