Board question

How do you send someone a private message that is either buried past the 1st page of your friends list or who might not be on your friends list. When I click on a persons id I get directed to their profile but I do not see a way of sending that person a message. If that person appears on the 1st page of your friends list there is an icon to click to send them a message but if not there is no icon. What am I missing?

Click on person's profile. Over on the right hand side, right under that person's friends' there is a section that says "send "screenname" a message".

so you don't have to be "friends" to send and receive private messages.
