BYOB (That's build your own boat :P )

Has anyone here built their own boat? I'm not talking about a 32' sloop. I just want a small dingy style boat that i can mount a trolling motor on. Maybe 9 or 10 feet long and all wood.

I built boats for around 5 yrs in Warren Rhode Island, worked in the prototype department making the plugs (first copy) of sailboats/powerboats etc after which the plug would be sent to the mold shop to have the mold made for mass production.

Hahaha I'm just doing a "feasibility study." Trying to find out if this is the type of thing I can do or if its too cost/time prohibitive.

It's doable but is say time labor and materials would add up to about....
