Ames Nowell / Cleveland Pond

does anyone know if they unlock the gate to the pond ? would love to get my small boat in there but it is kind of heavy and it's a bit of a walk.....

ive never seen it unlocked before i dnt think they do

do you fish it often ? i stopped by tonight for about an hou.r got 2 bass and lost 2 more. looks like a nice pond.

The web site says canoeing - nothing about boats.

I know this response is late, and I don't know if you already got out on Cleveland Pond, but I was there on Sunday with my family and I was talking to a park employee. If they are at the information house, they will open the gate so you can get your car down to the water to launch a canoe (I only asked about canoes). He also said if you call a day ahead and say what time you are going to get there, they will try to be in the area to let you in the gate (they are out doing trail work when not at the house).
