I was fishing in Mother brook in Hyde Park, trying to find out if there's carp in there last night. It was getting dark, so I reeled in my line one last time. I was reeling as fast as I could to avoid picking up weeks, and when the terminal rig was about 10-15 feet from shore, suddenly it stopped - there was a fish on! I reeled it in, and there was a small LMB on the hook. It had chased the dough ball, which was as big as its open mouth. Still no carp, but there's some hungry bass in there.
