I was doing some contract work at a medical marijuana grow facility (sorry guys, can't say where) 
and the Maintenance Supervisor is a big Yak fisherman. So we got to talking and he was telling me that he has pulled pike from the Sudbury in the summer trolling with a medium sized spoon.
I called my Brother and we're thinking about doing a day trip last week of April or first week of May. Concord looks good. Put in at the boat house at SouthBridge yak to Bedford road bridge. Looks about 6 miles. Looking at Google Earth, as you get close to Bedford st bridge it looks like shallow rapids. Not sure though. Anyone fish that stretch before? I'm in that area quite frequently as well as Lexington, Wayland area. Lot of good streams and ponds there. I usually keep my fishing rod and some tackle in my van and if I have time I wet a line here and there.
