Took the boat at 5 this morning from flint pond headed over to quinsig after catching a few small bass on a jerk bait found this cove by some apartments casting near a wall along shore brought the bait in about to take it out of the water and bam huge rainbow close to two feet long and estimate of at least 6 pounds crazy went to go lift him in the boat and bammmm line snapped pissed me off wanted to jump in and grab him for some pics never know maybe ill get him tomm heading back out at 5 am
So by now you realize that the fish you hooked was a brood salmon and you were very lucky to have gone for the ride...no matter how brief...in 1998 I got lucky enough to catch a 15-14 brood salmon on a spinnerbait while practicing for a tournament on Cochituate. it got me a State Pin, but even better, it took me 15 minutes to bring it in....Great Fun.
