I used to get Field and Stream, its not a bass only magazine, but there are a lot of good fishing articles mixed in with hunting and general outdoors stories/articles...I like to think I am fairly well read, as far as books and whatnot go, and I find the articles in F&S very well written, compared to magazines like InFisherman. Not that the info is any better, just a higher caliber of writing.
I also am looking to pick up a new Bass magazine subscription. I subscribed to BassMaster about 5 months ago and really like it, but like you, am looking for more.
So, I stopped by my local Barnes and Noble yesterday and looked over the fishing magazines (and books). I picked up the magazine "Bassin" and before I knew it, I read the whole magazine! Its a pretty thin mag but its got good content and its only $16 for the year (even less for 2 years).

There's also a local mag, I think its called New England Outdoors, which is both fishing and hunting. I read some it at KMart a few days ago and thought it was pretty neat, had some great local news and advice.
