I have tried them before on multiple occasions, I bought them down in Florida a few months back. I have consistently been trying to trigger some bites even nevermind actually catching something with them. I have heard positive things about them but in my own personal experience I have got nothing with em unfortunately

They seem like a good idea for the spawn. Other than that IDK i wouldn't think bass would want to touch a hardshell turtle other than aggressively trying to get it away from eggs. Who knows though.... Maybe there a killer and being kept a secret

I see turtles all the time hanging around in groups on heavy vegetation or just other cover where a big bass could potentially grab them. Never ever hear or see a fish smack the surface after them.

I've seen turtles eat big fish ounce the get big enough , Ounce me and dad went fishing and caught a few fish we had on a stringer on the side of the boat , when we pull them up all we had was half of fish on the stringers had to throw all back in.
