Awesome, thanks for the heads up!
Now that FiOS took away my World Fishing Network (WFN) station from my package I have been looking for some shows on other networks. If I want WFN back I would have to upgrade my package which is another $20 a month... Mad
I love my Fios service and all but this was a low blow!

Stupid cold weather. making us turn to fishing shows. Unfortunately its pushed me even further than that. I've now turned to virtual fishing to get me through the winter.

At least I've got a shot at a lunker on this one.

I figured I was the only gamer here. So how is that fishing game? I have been on the hunt for a fishing video game for the last month or so and definitely saw that one. I have both a wii and xbox 360 and have been looking at games for both systems but havent bought one yet...

i just bought it tonight, should be getting it in a week or so. The reviews look pretty good. I played the last one they had out a couple years ago. It was ok, fun but repetitive. I'm hoping this one is a little better.

Cool! Yeah this game is definitely a contender for my fishing game. Did you get the one that comes with the rod/reel peripheral?
I was very surprised this game doesn't take advantage of xbox live. I was hoping for online tournaments and online matches because I know my fishing buddies would love to do some fishing together online. I'll probably end up with either the Xbox 360 Rapala game you mentioned or "Hooked Again" on the Wii.

I have the "Reel fishing: angler's dream" for the wii. This game inspired me to get back into fishing again.

The controls for casting and reeling are somewhat frustrating and the 2nd stream challenge is hard because the required fish are in a difficult spot to cast to.

But it only cost me $19.99.

The developers of the game are Asian (Japanese) so there are "exotic" fish to catch that not native to North America. The one fish in the game that kind of bothers me is the Northern Snake head as this fish is an invasive species in the USA.

This game starts out with spin casting gear, then changes to fly casting gear, then changes to float fishing with fly gear, then changes to bait fishing with surf casting gear.

There are more locations but I have not opened them up yet.

It might be worth it for you if you can get past the controller issue.

Thanks for the heads up on that thorn!
Although, at that same price I can get "Hooked Again", which is a sequel to "Hooked". From what I have been reading this is a great game that features North American freshwater fish. It has online multiplayer where you can take on other people in online tourneys.
I'll probably end up with this game based on the reviews and videos I've seen and read.

Hey guys, I had a real tough time finding fishing shows to watch online. Then I stumbled upon these two sites. For the most part, both sites list the same shows, except a few that are only on one site and not the other. Wanted to share with you all...
