We hit the water this morning at 7 and it was COLD. 35 degrees but no wind to start. I took the advice of many of you and fished everything slowly. We went to the regular spots and had no luck with Dad's go to lure and I just had a few bumps on a white spinnerbait. We both put on small fat raps - small - one grey and the other a perch. I landed one decent northern and lost another at the boat. Dad caught a nice yellow perch. The day was slow and the wind started to build so off the water at noon to catch the Pats game.

There were a few other boats out there today...was it anyone here?

I visited the river Sunday but a little later than you. I was fishing from shore at the 225 bridge from about 2 to 7.

Congrats on your Northern! those things have been elusive to me. I haven't caught one since Oct 3rd and i have been there a handful of times since. I've been throwing a lot of different stuff out there too.

Yup last night for a few hours, 5 to 7:30ish i think. there was two of us there though. I was on the launch side of river and opposite side of street from launch. the other guy was on opposite side of river carp fishing (and he got one).
just two in your boat right?
i got nada, again. next time I can get out there I am going to go to where the concord meets the merrimack and target smallies and pike.
